Renault ZOE

Renault ZOE, an all-electric hatchback, got its introduction at Geneva Motor Show 2012.

The first Zoe concept was shown in 2005. After several adaptations, the Zoe Preview was presented in 2010. It is the ideal city car for everyday use, which came into production in 2012. It is a zero emission car with electrifying looks that offers its passengers a real driving enjoyment. Together with L’Oreal, Renault created the ‘Spa’ concept car that brings passenger’s health and well-being. The keys of the first ZOE are received by French minister for industrial development. The silent car has a homologated driving range of 210km varying upon the road and seasonal conditions with a maximum speed of 135 km/h.

Like the other vehicles in the Renault Z.E. range, it saves energy and minimizes pollutants while maintaining performance. The car is packed with a lot of technology like the Lithium-ion battery, which can be charged in three ways.

The standard charge (take 6-8 hours), the quick charge (10 minutes for 60km range or 80% battery capacity in 30 minutes) or quickdrop (3-minute battery exchange). The battery can be leased from 79 euro per month. Saint-Gobain Sekurit supplies all glazing (except for the front ventilator) of this new fully-electric city mover.
